A personal view of a pre-Trump America, aside from the usual higlights and freak shows. A road trip from Seattle to New York through 7.300 miles of American daily life from the Westcoast to the Eastcoast – looking for wonderland. But it is also the continuation of the wunderland-project, I have an ongoing relationship with this country ever since my first experience with the American way of life as a 16-year-old. And the country has never let go of me, so after countless visits and 2.5 years of living there it was only natural to continue my quest for “Heimat”, home, as an emotional place on the other side of the Atlantic.
